A simply magnificent Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning Blue Sapphire probably from Sri Lanka weighing an absolutely impressive 11.83ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains an array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 2.54ct. The central Blue Sapphire is simply stunning - a sought after ‘cornflower' hue - lighter to medium tone - which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. The stone will look slightly darker indoors, under incandescent lighting, or under cloudy conditions, and lighter under stronger daylight/natural lighting. As you can see, the first pics in the listing have been taken under cloudy conditons, and the last ones under stronger daylight. The stone is eye clean to all but the extremely eagle eyed, and almost, but not quite, loupe clean as well. Any lines you see in our pics will probably be reflections and not inclusions. Such extremely good clarity in such a large blue sapphire is absolutely rare and absolutely to be collected. Lustre and brilliancy are very good - the stone is positively 'alive'. The diamonds are WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics. Simple traditional heat only. We will consider a very near offer only, as this ring already represents exceptional value.
