A simply lovely and utterly unique estate Jewel set in solid platinum and featuring a stunning Ruby from the famed gem mines of Mogok in Burma weighing an impressive 4.95ct. The beautifully made ring contains a pair of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 0.30ct. The star of the show is certainly however the superb Ruby which is of a gorgeous hue of vibrant saturated ‘traffic light’ red, exactly how we perceive a traffic light to be. Our pics are absolutely unphotoshopped, but bear in mind that the light in Bangkok will be different from that in Chicago or London, as examples. All our pcs hve been taken in the Bangkok sunlight, whilst the slightly redder two were taken in sunny conditions. Clarity wise the the gem is inevitably included at this price point but remains a bright and vibrant gemstone of superb colour. In an ideal world,the gem could be a little more transparent, but this is all about the colour and origin. The stone has been heated by simple traditional heat only. Cutting is excellent and the oval shape has been beautifully presented by the gem cutter with no windowing. The stone is heated, normal heat only. Look at the stone under fluorescent lighting - it positive glows like a red-hot ember of coal! . We *will* take a reasonable offer on the ring but please note that unrealistic ones will be automatically rejected by the system. Size is a tad under 5 approx. The riing comes complete with certification from one of the major gem laboratiories in Japan, confirming that the stone is heated, and origin Burma.
