An Exquisite Estate Unheated Burma Ruby and diamond Platinum Ring dating from c.1980 and featuring a gorgeous Unheated ruby from the famed mines of Mogok in Burma. The ruby is an exquisite pinkish red, looking slightly more pink under sunlight as our pics show. red, very typically Burmese and absolutely stunning. Weight is estimated at 1.02ct which corresponds with the previous owner’s recollection. The ruby is eye vlean to all but the extremely eagle eyed, with only some tiny inclusions and silk visible under a loupe - this is an extremely lively and bright gem, exceptionally pretty indeed. The diamonds are pretty round cuts totalling 0.75ct approx. Size 7.25 approx. A delicate and absolutely correct ring which is certain to appreciate in value as time goes by.
