A simply immense and utterly unique Jewel set in solid platinum , and featuring a stunning Ruby from Mogok in Burma weighing an impressive 2.40ct. The beautifully made ring contains an array of clean and white brilliant cut diamonds of extremely good quality totalling 1.35ct. The diamonds look greyish in some of our pics, but this is caused by reflections - they are absolutely as white as snow and with excellent clarity and cut as well. The star of the show is certainly however the wonderful unheated Ruby which is of a gorgeous hue of ‘traffic light’ red - simply gorgeous. In sunlight or strong lighting, , the stone is simply a burning red fluoresent red ball! ! Clarity wise the stone is *inevitably* included, but when worn and from most angles the inclusions should not be eye visible. Fluorescence - an acid test of Burma ruby - is extraordinary and diagnostic, as shown in our last pic.. The gem has been heated, simple traditional heat only. Cutting is good without windowing, and the stone presents a very large face. I am absolutely sure that whoever is lucky enough to win this stunning ring will be buying an excellent long term investment.
