A simply gorgeous Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning Unheated pastel light Blue Sapphire probably from Sri Lanka weighing an absolutely impressive 7.52ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains an array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 1.10ct. The central Blue Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a delicate * light * pastel ‘cornflower' hue with a hint of grey, which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. You can see that we have included 6 pics under stronger lighting conditions, in which the stone appears more blue. The stone is eye clean, with the exception of a crystal inclusion in the middle of the stone, which we have tried to capture with our images. Lustre and brilliancy are good - the stone is positively 'alive' and is extremely lively despite the obvious windowing in the gem. The diamonds are WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics. No treatment. The windowing in the stone does not detract from the vibrancy of this most unusual and unique gem. gem.
