The star of the show is that gorgeous Brazilian aquamarine, quite possibly from the famed Santa Maria mines, weighing an impressive 5.50ct: the colour is a delightful pastel light blue, just as aquamarine should be, not wishy washy at all, and the gem is eye clean and, astonishingly, almost but not quite loupe clean as well. We have shown the ring in both midday dayling/cool LED lighting, and also underincandescent light/low level sunlight, in which the stone will appear a little more blue-green, in order for you to accurately gauge the colour under different lighting conditions.
