A truly delightful natural Melo Pearl weighing 4.80ct from the sun-kissed waters of the Andaman Sea. The colour is a gorgeous yellow/orange, with orange the dominant hue under strong daylight, simply gorgeous! There are even some reddish orange patches! There is a simply magnificent ‘flame’ pattern on the Pearl, this type of pattern is known in the trade as ‘leopard’ type flame - actually it covers the entire pearl, all around, simply wonderful! The shape is a gorgeous elongated marquis. As you can see the body of the Pearl is free from unseemly blemishes, but the top and bottom of the Pearl have dark areas at the tip. No treatment whatsoever, absolutely extraordinary. The Pearl has been polished. Perfect for a stunning ring or pendant.
