A truly delightful pair of natural Melo Pearls weighing 4.24ct total from the sun-kissed waters of the Andaman Sea. The colour is a gorgeous pastel hue of yellowish orange, with orange the dominant hue, simply gorgeous! The first pics have been taken in daylight which we feel is quite accurate, while the pearls will look significantly more orange under strong warm incandescent lighting. The Pearls are both free from ugly blemishes. There is a simply lovely ‘flame’ pattern on each Pearl, actually it covers the entire pearl, all around, simply wonderful! The flame is simply gorgous, though it is more clear under magnification than with the human eye. Shape wise the pair is not perfect, since as you can see, one pearl is more 'pear' shaped with a pointed top. However they could definitely be set by a competent jeweller to make a stunning pair of earrings. No treatment whatsoever, absolutely extraordinary. The shape is a slightly asymmetrical oval. The Pearls have been polished. Perfect for a stunning pair of earrings. These are totally natural saltwater Pearls and is not freshwater or cultured Pearls.
