A simply gorgeous Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning heated pink Sapphire weighing an absolutely impressive 2.17ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains an array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 1.91ct. The central pink Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a delightful ‘bubble gum’ pink hue which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. The stone is eye clean to all but the exceptionally eagle eyed, with only a couple of tiny inclusions visible under magnification. Such extremely good clarity in such a large pink sapphire is extremely collectible. Lustre and brilliancy are very good - the stone is positively 'alive' and is extremely vibrant and lively despite the window in the gem. The gem will look more purple under incandescent lighting: the first pics were taken in the bright Bangkok sunlight, which will tend to make the gem look lighter. The diamonds are WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics. Cutting is good although there is some windowing in the stone.
