A simply gorgeous Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning Unheated Blue Sapphire from Mogok in Burma weighing an absolutely impressive 3.23ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains a delightful array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 0.90ct. The central Blue Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a deeply saturated medium to dark hue of ‘Royal’ blue which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. Clarity is good for the gem genre - the gem is indeed moderately and clearly included, but such is the saturation of colour that this is barely obvious to all but the very eagle eyed. Lustre and brilliancy are excellent - the stone is positively 'alive' and is exceptionally vibrant and lively. The diamonds are all WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics.
