A simply gorgeous and wonderful value Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning Unheated Blue Sapphire from Sri Lanka weighing an absolutely impressive 3.14ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains an array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 0.19ct. The central Blue Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a light to medium pastel ‘cornflower ‘ hue which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. Our pics have been taken under both incandescent lighting (which will bring out the blue in the colour) and additionally we have added pics also taken in sunlight, just to show the dichromatic nature of this sapphire. The stone is almost but not quite eye clean, with some small inclusions visible under magnification. Lustre and brilliancy are good - the stone is positively 'alive' and is extremely vibrant and lively. The diamonds are WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics.
