A simply gorgeous Estate ring set in solid Platinum and featuring a stunning heated Blue Sapphire weighing an absolutely impressive 7.76ct. The beautifully made Estate ring contains an array of clean and white diamonds of excellent quality totalling 0.30ct. The central Blue Sapphire is simply gorgeous - a medium ‘cornflower ‘ hue which at its best, like this example, shows extreme fire and vibrancy. The stone is virtually but not quite eye clean, with only one inclusion visible only to the most eagle eyed of us. Such extremely good clarity in such a large blue sapphire is extremely collectible. Lustre and brilliancy are very good - the stone is positively 'alive' and is extremely vibrant and lively despite the window in the gem. The gem will look more blue under incandescent lighting. The diamonds are WHITE and not yellowish as in some pics. Cutting is good although there is some windowing in the gem.
